We are going to introduce the ATTIX 30 HEPA industrial canister vacuum cleaner from Nilfisk. The important thing when cleaning is to pick up dust without releasing it into the air at the same time. That’s why the quality vacuums are HEPA certified. In this sense we are not only talking about a vacuum with a HEPA bag, but rather equipped with a HEPA filter.
The Nilfisk ATTIX 30 HEPA canister vacuum cleaner is designed for heavy-duty work. This vacuum has a HEPA filter and an 8-gal (US) (30.2 L) tank capacity. The ATTIX 30 HEPA can alternatively vacuum dust as well as non-flammable liquids. To collect dust, it is strongly recommended to use the dust bag to contain the dust, especially if the dust contains asbestos. Even if it is possible to use it without using a dust bag, let’s say that you will reduce the life of the HEPA filter and the motor. It is also possible to recover non flammable liquids to do so you must use the wet filter (SAD6FW). Once finished you must open the machine, dry the tank and remove the filter to dry it. If you keep a wet filter for vacuuming dust, it will clog up quickly and reduce the efficiency of your vacuum cleaner.
This vacuum cleaner can be used to vacuum dry materials (dust, dirt, trash, ashes, sawdust, sand). The HEPA filter of this vacuum cleaner is effective against carcinogenic dust and dust containing pathogens. It is ideal for mould decontamination and asbestos removal. It is also recommended for renovation and construction work as well as for routine cleaning work. The big advantage with this type of sweeper is that the dirt remains inside the bag and thanks to its HEPA filter, it does not let a cloud of dust escape behind it. Hence the interest to pay more for a real HEPA vacuum cleaner.
This vacuum cleaner is equipped with a HEPA filter (high efficiency particulate air filter) that captures 99.97% of particles up to 0.3 µm in diameter. The filter is even more efficient for larger particles. The HEPA filter is installed behind the air inlet, thus protecting the interior of the vacuum cleaner and letting out particle-free air.
This vacuum cleaner also has a 22 ft (6.7 m) power cord, which allows you to cover a good surface without having to reconnect the unit. This vacuum is designed to be lightweight, compact and easy to move. The vacuum tank is made of blue polyethylene. Polyethylene is a lightweight, impact-resistant thermoplastic that is easy to clean. With a weight of 32 lb (14.5 kg), this unit is equipped with four casters, two of which are swivel and two of which are fixed.
When turned on, the motor of this vacuum cleaner generates a noise level of 59 dBA. This equipment operates on a 120 V/60 Hz circuit and consumes 13 amps. The motor generates power from 1.6 hp to 7.25 hp. It produces an airflow of 135 cfm. It induces a negative pressure of 92 inches of water (w.g) or 23 kPa, which gives the unit a power output of 1200 Watt to 5400 Watt.
